Capabilities & Focus

We seek to impact culture through storytelling. We are experienced in developing, packaging, producing and financing content. We work with exceptional creatives and support stories that invite a conversation. We meet creators at any stage on their journey by providing the financing and production teams necessary for them to succeed. We have focused on film and television but we do not limit ourselves by medium and are open to new ways of telling stories.

We facilitate our production service teams and post-production facilities across Latin America, and other international territories. We are active year-round and available for engagement.  Currently, we service clients such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Telemundo, MGM, Lionsgate, Disney, Sony, and Atlantic Records, among others.

Venture Capital

We provide venture capital to startups that transform culture and improve lives.  We are industry agnostic and provide the most value to founders who can make use of our deep connections in the media, arts, and culture.

Laura Walker Lee

Walker is a globally minded thought leader who has successfully worked at the intersection of entertainment and finance for over ten years.

Walker is the CEO of AG Capital, a fund that focuses on the advancement of culture by way of world-class creators, impactful storytelling and unique live events.  In film and television, AG Capital is currently financing projects for Rob Siegel (THE WRESTLER, THE FOUNDER), JC Chandor (ALL IS LOST, A MOST VIOLENT YEAR), and Plan B (MOONLIGHT, WORLD WAR Z, 12 YEARS A SLAVE) among others.

AG Capital was born out of a partnership between Walker and her former client, Alex Garcia. Walker represented Garcia when she was a film finance agent at Creative Artists Agency. From 2007-2014, a pivotal time for a burgeoning class of independent financiers, Walker had the privilege of representing and structuring deals for a bastion of funds; among them companies like Annapurna, 2929 Entertainment, Silver Reel Entertainment, and FilmNation.

During her time at CAA, Walker had the opportunity to negotiate on behalf of top-tier talent such as Meryl Streep, Matthew McConaughey, Joel Edgerton, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, Viola Davis, Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Sean Combs, Justin Timberlake, and many others.  She was able to help these talent clients by functioning as their conduit to reliable financing sources in the independent world.  When Walker joined the Film Finance Group at CAA in 2007, the group was managing less than $10M of financing transactions a year.

Walker took to structuring the everyday function of the CAA Film Finance Group, managed & evaluated all of the P&L sheets for the department’s growth, and was integral to strategically focus MP agents on a better way of doing business outside the traditional studio system. By the time Walker exited for AG Capital in 2014, the Film Finance Group was managing more than $1B in transactions a year. Among those transactions, Walker was involved in the packaging, financing and/or distribution deals for films such as STILL ALICE, DALLAS BUYERS CLUB, THE MASTER, SPRING BREAKERS, UNDER THE SKIN, ZERO DARK THIRTY.

Today, Walker is a strong advocate for building community and trust within the entertainment and finance industries. She is a founder of the up-and-coming Cabo Media Summit that will host media executives and tastemakers across film & television in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they will have a chance to collaborate with luminaries and global thought leaders, in an effort to tackle the modern challenges of media’s impact on the world today.

Before her time at the agency, Walker worked in Austin as an Assistant Director to filmmakers Asif Kapadia, Richard Linklater, Peter Berg, and Robert Rodriguez.

Originally from Texas, Laura currently resides in Los Angeles California with her husband, Jordan Wayne Lee.
